The Chandos Lake Property Owners Association approached us looking to have their website redesigned and managed.
Their existing website was hosted on a subdomain of another website and they did not have control of the domain name nor the site itself. Orion’s Web was able to solve both these problems.
Part of the reason for the redesign was to create a website which was easier to navigate. During our investigation and analysis of the former site we discovered the code was outdated, and made extensive use of popups. Our goal was to make the site a bit less bulky, easy to navigate, friendly to search engines and alter the site architecture so that popups could be eliminated. We did want to maintain most of the general aesthetic feel to the site as the former site was visually appealing.

Shannon Lake wanted their new site design to have a similar look and feel to kelownasprings.com (a site we did a little over a year before). Even though the majority of this site’s traffic come via existing members they still rank on page one for their name.
Shannon Lake Golf Club, playing amongst towering pines and moderate elevation changes, is a true test to golfers of all abilities. The signature 17th, a long risk/reward par 4, plays alongside beautiful Shannon Lake.

Strangaard Consulting Inc.’s website was in need of a redesign.
One of the requirements was to make it easy to navigate, another was to find it in the search engines, and they wanted to be able to edit the site themselves. Peter’s site now looks much nicer, is easier to navigate and ranks very well for very competitive key phrases.

We were able to use their existing shopping cart, and their new graphics, update the coding in the site to make it more search engine friendly and the end result is a really beautiful looking website, that works well and quickly went from no where to either position 1,2 or 3 for all of their major keywords.

The result: She wanted a website that would enable her to reach out and help other’s that had gone through similar experiences. The site needed to be welcoming with a gentle appeal and easy to navigate.
