Great article on the possible future of twitter, based on astute observation of other social media tools of the past decade.
In my opinion the author: Jeremiah Staes brings up many good and valid points however closes the door on the issue, leaving out that even in the examples he uses, not all email is mass handled, nor snail mail for that matter!
No matter how impersonal any medium of contact may become there will always be those, no matter how popular (professional, celebrity, politician) who will take the time to connect to their audience one to one.
